Nigel Copage is a professional trainer with over 30 years' experience in adult education.
He was born in the UK in 1951 and has a degree in Engineering from Bath University, a British Postgraduate Teaching Diploma, a Masters degree in Education from the University of Reading and a Masters in Business Administration from Henley Management College.
From 1980 to 1995 Nigel Copage was an officer of the British Council and served in Portugal, Abu Dhabi, Malaysia and Greece. From 1990 to 1995 he was Director of the British Council Teaching Centre in Athens.
In 1995 he set up International Management Studies which offered a number of British postgraduate degrees including the Strathclyde MBA, the Strathclyde MSc Finance and the Masters in Marketing. As well as being Director of IMS, he regularly taught on the MBA programme and has been a visiting lecturer in Strategic Management since the MBA began. He also ran many of the intensive seminars which IMS provided to organisations and companies in Greece and the Middle East.
In 2006 Nigel Copage left IMS to become an independent training consultant offering short seminars to companies and organisations in Greece and the region.
